love the byzantine but avoid playing it on tsl maps at all cost specifically because the ottoman and macedonia exist

seeing that corsair at turn 65 is just plainly terrifying... as someone playing on emperor difficulty, I would just exit and cry lol

Not that it is bad or anything, but you are 8 Era score short on Golden Age already, so you just need 4 cities converted, which obviously you are easily gonna get - War Conversion will make you overshoot "a bit" ;)

Just finished my first deity roman holidays game. It went better than I expected but so many things with trading are different that I ijust had to get used to. It was also really strange seeing the AI build kilwa and build mausoleum at Halicarnassus (but it was nice conquering those instead of building them >.<).

Surrounded by enemies with a military strength of a wet potato and they don't attack you. My good sir, you aren't playing Deity. In Deity, the enemy AI is supposed to attack you from 3 sides. Source: They always do in my games even if I have a stronger army.
