I never focus on anything accept for pitching. I pick three scouts with the highest Efficiency rating along with Pitchers. Each week I have them all focus on a region with a certain position. For example, my 1st week SP International, 2nd week RP International, 3rd week CP International then the other regions. I don't focus on SP too much just relievers/close which are hard to find in free agency.
ОтветитьIdk about this, discovery is gold my dude
ОтветитьHow do I Sim the season until I get all my draft players ready to go up to the Majors
Ответить?
ОтветитьI just tried picking around my picks and that don't work comp taking my picks way to early and they even got a #74 Pick early in #10
ОтветитьHow do you will do it to get A and B Potential because when it comes to the draft is crazy the other teams get players that suppose to go in 20 30 or 40 pick in the 1st 10 picks of draft. And the draft mostly have C Potential only 2 or 3 B or 2 or 3 A
ОтветитьBro, what do you mean in class, HS, JC 1YR, 4YR SR?
ОтветитьThnanks i scouted someone with 99 potential in my 2nd round pick most of the time i get low b potential guys there
ОтветитьDrafted a 22yr old 57 ovr SP with 98 potential. At the beginning of his 2nd season he was 70 ovr
ОтветитьWhy the hell would they make it harder to draft. It’s already a huge pain
Ответитьamazing video, thanks man!! Excited to scout players now.
ОтветитьAre you supposed to pay attention to mlb rank or team rank? I'm obviously doing something wrong, because I've gone through 5 seasons using this method and I have 4 A/B draftees.
ОтветитьWatched this on a computer that I wasn’t signed in to. Found the video on my phone to say thank you. Very well explained and makes the game just that much more fun. Subscribed!
ОтветитьAlways love these videos. You basically taught me how to play this game starting with 21. Very helpful info for a casual baseball fan like myself
ОтветитьIf you don't use discovery with one scout, at least for pitchers in the the central and international, you are missing A potential and 70s overall, anywhere from 18-21 age group. Additionally, you can draft these players in the 3rd and 4th round as other teams haven't always discovered those players.
ОтветитьHello.
I recently started doing Franchise, and the idea of drafting caught my attention quite deeply.
I've been trying to educate myself on the matter on how to scout and draft better. I think your method is fair, but only effective if you have a pick on the first 15 rounds.
After few years of rebuild and successful trades, I keep making the Postseason and having one of the last 8 picks on the round. Drafting becomes a pain, because no top prospects are left, only decent RP/CP. Which I've been focusing on and trading to build up on prospects. I am also very active on the deadline.
So Discovery has been my to go tool. Not always affective, but it's easier than having to randomly select picks around the 30th pick just to find out they are sub 80 C players. Best case I drafted 4 88+ players 1 90+ and 1 95+ IN ONE CLASS.
My question is, how would you draft using your method of the video if you already have a top 8 Franchise? And what method do you think would be more effective for drafting in a successful franchise with the bottom 5 picks every season?
got a 19 year old 98 potential in second round works really well for me
ОтветитьBilly Beane said to never draft high school players. 😂 I guess The Show 24 were not Moneyball fans.
Ответитьgreat tips, cant wait for the draft next season for my Tigers. leaving a comment as a newbie not to go over budget when doing contract extensions around signing week.
ОтветитьSo, to be clear, i should scout 3 players that would feasibly be available around every draft pick? That way, I'd theoretically have 3 choices per pick if all 3 are still available?
