All very beautiful, but if you live in state were in rains or snows I guarantee you won’t want use this jeep in the winter after spending buckets of money on it and scared to dirty the nice shiny chassis on it.
ОтветитьHmm. If I'd known my '70 FJ40 would be worth that kinda bucks, perhaps I would have kept it.
ОтветитьSuperb
ОтветитьWhy am I thinking that in order to have an FJ40 like this I will need to commit a bank robbery, or go into politics?
P.S.
That FJ is artwork!!!
So this is actually BETTER than it would have come off the showroom floor!
ОтветитьI like my 1965 FJ40 thank you very much. Yes older but like a fine wine. It's a California native but it's been all the way to Peru and back - twice. Bone stock and at the time we got her $1000.00.
C U out there.
Thanks for keeping the America consumers well informed! Here in Miami a lot of people are bringing the Colombian and Brazilian Bandeirante and asking high numbers for them just cus they look similar and branded Toyota but there’s no comparison to the USA market except that the Bandeirante has four strong Diesel engines but again not us parts support on those so is a dead end road in my view.
ОтветитьBeautiful truck.
ОтветитьI really liked my 1971 fj40 but it only got about 8 mpg. I tried a different intake manifold and a carburetor but the mpg was still 8mpg. (In Alaska)☹️
ОтветитьMate, you're a freak. Your knowledge of this vehicle is awesome. I don,t think ill get one now...I wont be able to give mine as much love as it will need. I don't have the skills nor the money. Thanks for the great video though, tremendous presentation.
ОтветитьIts not about market expectations, its the DOT. The worst part is that toyota sold those bad equipped LCs at the same price or even more expensive to the latin america market consumers.
ОтветитьTLC cars are awesome, but those of the Fj Company brought from Colombia are amazing as well. I don’t get why he thinks TLC is the only legit Fj restoration company
ОтветитьYou know the way to happiness👌
ОтветитьThank you so very much for the most informative video yet on the FJ40. I’m currently in the market but cannot afford anything already restored. If I can find one it would be my fourth. First an old pickup FJ40 model whose number evades me, then a 1990 followed by a 2001. Looking for a simpler vehicle that allows me to work on it as well as play. Thanks again.
ОтветитьExcellent video and info. Cheers
ОтветитьThe south east Asian version will be more brutal than this in it's full factory original.usually fitted with 3litre diesel engine..no padded front console..no power steering..no heater..no rollbars.the front bumper are all steel with 2 hooks on it and that's it.the steel wheels are equally bland with no chrome whatsoever.not everybody can afford to drive one nowadays.. VERY expensive and rare.excellent video 🌞
ОтветитьI wish i could own one
ОтветитьSo nice restoration ireally like it ..
ОтветитьDoes anyone know if the color is Beige (464) or Dune Beige (416)? Thx
ОтветитьNice car , but the tyres are to fat . the Toyo need 7.50-16
Ответить@ICON
What’a BEAUTIFUL RESTORATION !!
I know this post is 5 years old now, but I still have a couple quick questions.
1.) How long did this project take?
(start to finish/selling point)
2.) How much did this specific FJ sell for?
(Final sold price)
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I look forward to watching more of your videos.
Great content, with thorough explanations & info-details. Very helpful. 🤙🏽
Is the roof still fiberglass? Im surprised there isnt really an aluminum option
ОтветитьThis car is from Toyota Land Cruiser, and since the beginning of the seventies of the last century, and it is still the first place in the love of the Yemeni people for it, and the first place in performance and strength .. as no other car can cut the rugged mountains of Yemen, the deserts of Yemen, the valleys of Yemen and the unpaved roads of Yemen. And the rocky roads are very dangerous..All this Toyota Land Cruiser does with a smile. With its elegant and attractive shape, which people so familiarized itself with, it portrayed this Japanese legend as a symbol of the Yemeni strength represented by the genius, skilled driver who loved the steering of the Land Cruiser in all its models with an eternal love.. It's the legendary Yota Land Cruiser
Ответить4 well drive .. Yes she's strong
ОтветитьJonathan is a true artist.

ОтветитьThis is not a buyer's guy, simply an advertisement for his business
Ответитьamazing videos
ОтветитьThanks, very nice fj 40. A beautiful edition to anyones garage. Wish it was mine.👍
ОтветитьYeah, those newer engines with all that smog stuff suck. I'll stick with the older models.
ОтветитьYou named some of the Shittiest States in the Country when talking about which ones wont let you own a 25yr import model....
ОтветитьI’m in Texas and there is a restored 76 BJ40 for sale in my town. Guy shipped it here from Costa Rica. Any issues with that model. 4 speed manual 4 cylinder diesel.
ОтветитьColor??
ОтветитьGreat! Very informational and knowledgeable. Thanks
