NINE INCH NAILS doing the music of TRON ARES
ОтветитьAnd yet Disney willingly gambled a lot of money on garbages like Acolyte, She-Hulk, Velma and Echo. Disney obsession to push the woke messages through all this shows, is astounding.
Ответитьthey finally announced the sequel for this film 2 weeks ago at d23
Ответитьi think nine inch nails sound track will be a worthy successor to daft punk sound track
ОтветитьThe question is, who actually LIKES Jared Leto? Like Ezra Miller, even if you don't know anything about his offscreen behavior, he's annoying and a terrible actor. But then these guys are both horrible people in real life, too, yet they keep getting hired.
I didn't know until your video that a third Tron movie had been filmed. I liked the last one enough that I probably would've gone to see it. But then you mention that it stars Jared Leto, and now I definitely WON'T see it. Whoever cast Leto in this thing killed it.
this is the only one of these failed Disney franchises that was actually cool and unique
ОтветитьNine Inch Nails, m’dude.
Nine. Inch. Nails.
The story and the characters are just good enough to get a pass.
Which can be a little bit disappointing because the visuals and the music are just fantastic. I honestly loved it when it came out, and I still generally really enjoy it. It does get incredibly slow at times, some of the writing just doesn't really work, and a few of the visual effects are a little off-putting. But really, it's like cinematic candy. Not a ton of substance but man it's generally really enjoyable
I remember not liking the Star Wars rip off moments, light sabers and X-wings.
Ответитьno matter how good Ares turns out, i just know nomura already has it written in his draft for Kingdom Hearts 5 (seriously how are BOTH tron movies in kh)
ОтветитьI love Tron Legacy. But, Tron 3 will have DEI and suck
ОтветитьI think the antagonist looking uncanny sort of works in this, he IS a weird fake computer-man, after all.
ОтветитьI loved the tron landscape but yes the characters were very flat. I wish they would have done more with Kevin Flynns character. The falling elevator scene where he "hacks" the system to turn on thrusters was interesting. He was almost like thr Neo of this world.
ОтветитьToday, those neon suits would be made using CGI.
ОтветитьDoes anyone here remember Elec-Tron-Ica in DCA? That was the coolest thing to do at the parks around this time
ОтветитьThey also released a short film called Tron: The next day that was supposed to set up Edward Dillinger as the sequel’s main villain
ОтветитьI remember the helicopter company I worked for painted one of there helicopters for a promo for the sequel to Tron Legacy and they never even made the movie! To this day we still have that 1 single helicopter painted all black while the other 40 or so are painted silver and grey.
ОтветитьI swear jared leto is one of the worst actors i've ever seen in any kind of movie. from bad movies to mid to best, whenever he's in one i lose interest
Ответить???? they are shooting the next tron movie now
ОтветитьHtf did the kings speech make more money than trom
ОтветитьI was only 4 years old when this movie came out. Between ages 6 and 10 this was easily one of my favorite movies to watch at my grandparents' house. I didn't watch it for years, but when I re-watched this movie about 2 years ago as a 17 year old
Holy crap this movie aged so freaking well. The cinematography beyond the CGI was so damn good that even mid CGI (which, let me be clear, was way better than mid in this movie) would let this movie age well visually. I thought the story may have been basic, but it was very simple and clean, and just made it quite entertaining, probably a 8/10 for me personally, which is probably brought up by a lot of nostalgia bias. I'd personally 100% recommend to anyone who's curious about it.
But that's just me, all of your criticisms are actually super based and I agree with them, I just dislike these things less.
Yes I too dislike J LETO.
ОтветитьOf course. I hate Jared Leto.He ruined the joker. Then I found out that he was a pos on a personal level.
ОтветитьYou should make a video about why you hate Leto, that would be interesting..
ОтветитьTRON: Legacy has a PERFECT plot, you are crazy
ОтветитьI enjoyed much of Tron: Legacy. After the years and hearing others opinions … I realized some flaws with C.L.U. end goals 😅 Still great for me but I see why others may not have enjoyed it.
ОтветитьDisney is smoking crack for not making another Tron after this and another Ready Player One by now. Instead they buy Star Wars and run it into the ground 🥲
ОтветитьIt is a crying shame that Daft Punk split up before being able to work on the Music for the Sequel.
Legitimately one of the most underrated and unique music Film scores of the 2010s era
If Olivia Wilde in a shiny skin-tight suit can't save a movie, then nothing can.
ОтветитьPeople are insanely too critical on movies. Tron is amazing in so many ways
ОтветитьMf, are you a judge? Can you personally prove the allegations are true? Otherwise putting your personal unrelated agenda in these kind of videos is off putting.
ОтветитьName ONE Jared Leto movie that has done well in the past decade….yeah this is not looking good folks.
ОтветитьClu did look awful but I don't know how can you say you HATE de aging if it was actually not really prominent or over used at the time of release as it is now. As soon as a I saw it the first time I thought "this is obviously early days for what they were going for so I'll try and look past it"
ОтветитьI really enjoyed Tron 2010, but anything regarding Jared Leto was dead on arrival!
ОтветитьAlso this movie doesnt really have much to do with TRON. This movie is about the Flynn legacy and the corruption of clu. If they wanted to make a TRON LEGACY movie, I would have rather seen a movie that delt with how he was corrupted, the decade Flynn was stuck in the grid, and the change within the grid as tech evolved over said time.
imho I believe this would have set up multiple stories to branch out from.
TRON could have been the House of Mouse's Star Wars franchise that they were looking for.
But.... When you throw chedder in front of the Mouse, it always gets stuck in the trap!
I honestly love TRON as a franchise. Although the movie was alright, it grabbed my attention as a kid, and I absolutely loved the visual design aesthetics they had going with the movie.
What further solidified my love for the franchise was the surprise and superb TRON 2.0 game. It also gave me hope for a TRON 2 movie when I saw they had also added the TRON World into the Disney and Squaresoft/Square Enix game, Kingdom Hearts 2. It was so cool to traverse through the TRON worlds in those games and meet familiar characters along the way.
However, with all that said, TRON: Legacy, while it did spark my interest, did not capture me the same way as the original movie did. I felt that the characters didn't have the same computer lingo and stiffness that the original programs had. That and the jarring 3D de-aging also took me out of it. A lot of people praised it saying that it looked like the real thing, but I guess I had a sensitive eye for 3D CG faces since I thought it still looked fake.
Tron legacy and John Carter should've been big
ОтветитьI love Tron Legacy and I agree with everything you said, especially about Jared Leto.
ОтветитьSuch a good looking film, besides the de-aging
ОтветитьI absolutely loved that movie, however, the thing is that is a sequel launched almost 30 years later of the first one, so me, who have just watched this film, found myself at the begging of the film, in mid of a story, so had to go with the flow. The movie is amazing overall, but needed to be a reboot instead of a sequel, and then you'll have a proper sequel success.
ОтветитьI think Tron 3 soundtrack can work if they got aspea (they made sci-fi-inspired songs like armageddon and Next Level). I don't think they're the BEST choice
ОтветитьYou know, I've only seen this movie like once, and it was when it first came out when I was a kid and I watched it at school, and I thought I imagined the movie or I had a fever dream because I barely remember what the movie was about
ОтветитьI never saw the first one but I saw this in the cinema when I was a kid and loved it. My child brain never even noticed the nightmare looking deaged Jeff bridges
ОтветитьI’m gonna give NIN a chance. Jared Leto eeeh don’t hate him, don’t like him. (Liked his Joker don’t hate me).
Accepted Tron Legacy, but didn’t like that it was kind of a reboot vs a continuation. Music was great.
This was one of two times that I fell asleep in a theatre. To be fair, I was pretty tired that day, but also bored. The other time was um something like gods and monsters? idk, it was a remake of a harryhausen film. anyway, this was honestly an exceptional Daft Punk album with a movie promo attached.
ОтветитьOH, I also wanted to say this movie spawned a nightly "dance club" like setting in Disney's California Adventure park that was... confusing is the best I can describe it. It was fine, if you're into that sort of thing, but in a Disney park it just felt out of place in my opinion. It was strange to be there next to the Aladdin theatre and having club/dance music playing, sanitized ofc cos this is still Disney, and electric lights in alcoholic drinks. There's alcohol in the park, that's fine, but the vibes were all over the place. I ended up avoiding the park once the Tron stuff time came.
Ответитьactually they just announced a tron Legacy sequel call Tron Aces so I think you have to rename that freaking title
ОтветитьI WONDERED why the Tron character's part was so small, reduced to almost an afterthought of a voiceover. All I could think of was that maybe they blew the whole de-aging budget on Bridges or something, but it makes sense if they wrote the whole script without him and then tried to insert him at the last minute. Huh. I wonder if it would have been better if they'd stuck to their guns and left him out, or if they'd caused expensive delays by adding major rewrites and reshoots? I wonder what the thought process was behind not including him from the beginning? Very interesting. I'm glad the Internet wasn't around in the 1980s, because I was blissfully unaware that some of my favorite movies were considered "flops" at the time.
ОтветитьGood to know youre a fellow jared leto hater
ОтветитьTron 1 would also spawn the function perlin noise, a neat little function for generated noise used for worlds in games like Minecraft. Tron 1 was just, such a large stepping stone for so many major IPs.
Ответить
