I have a 74 that is a blast to drive love it! I heard toyota is going to start remanufacturing the parts again, so I can keep it on the road for years to come. I'm excited.
ОтветитьLoving this channel! Keep it up Winslow!
ОтветитьLove the old Fjs. Noice! This channel kicks ass!
ОтветитьIt would be awesome to see that Mack B61 in the back ground. Always great to see these videos, better than Motortrend! 🤠👍
ОтветитьMy crazy buddy had one around 1970 that he drove hard.Drove through a swamp to get away from the cops.Hit a steel sign post off road that was angled towards him and it speard through the truck floor and just missed him .I sold him jeep with a 6 cl Buick motor he would lay rubber in all 4 wheels but that's another story
Ответить50 year old truck !!! Awesome looking great . 😀😀😀👍
ОтветитьLooking forward to more videos
Ответитьmuchas gracias mister Winslow, crecí montado en esos carros, hasta un volconazo está entre mis recuerdos, saludes desde San José de Costa Rica.
ОтветитьI have a 1962 fj40
ОтветитьNice truck 👍
ОтветитьVery, very neat. When I was in middle school we lived in Panama and my dad had a BJ-40. We went a great many neat places in that Land Cruiser, especially in the mountainous western province of Chiriqui. Thanks for sharing.
EDIT: Love me some Wyoming too; especially the big mule deer and speed goats. Go Cowboys!
My grandparents bought a red 68 FJ for my folks when they got married. Still have it to this day.
ОтветитьIs that the spring green color? I'm restoring a 1977 that I want to paint in this color.
ОтветитьI want to take one and put the 5.7l v8 with a supercharger
ОтветитьWell presented. Beautiful Land Cruiser. In my opinion, PTO winches are the best winches to have on a vehicle such as this 1968 Toyota Land Cruiser. Andy McKane, Maunaloa, Molokai, Hawaii.
ОтветитьGreat video. Not-so-great music.
Ответить👍👍
ОтветитьLove that engine bay
ОтветитьHate seeing those kids in troop seats with the late model roll bar. Good chance you'll kill or disable a kid when they smash their skulls
ОтветитьSuper awesome!
ОтветитьCool! I have a 1967 Land Cruiser still in use on my ranch in South America….. over 1,000,000 miles and still a work horse…. I have owned 25 land cruisers and am driving one with 378,000 miles here in Pennsylvania
ОтветитьGolden era of Toyota 60's.
ОтветитьLove original FJ's ... Loved seeing this one ... Is it possible to relay here, the actual two colors shown on this unit ? ... Sort of a pea soup green and some sort of yellow tinted off white ? ... Regards ...
ОтветитьJumpin' Jesus, can you dump the blaring background music????
ОтветитьIt appears that there are several mis-matched features on this FJ40. The ribbed front dash is an earlier year FJ feature. A great video none the less.
ОтветитьNo dash bumper also a bit of a miss match...
ОтветитьPassenger grab bar...? Clearly an import but still possibly a '68 from that market. Great intro to the FJ40 . Visit the Land Cruiser Heritage Museum in Salt Lake City Utah. Kinda hard to find but worth the effort if you like them.
ОтветитьMuch newer seats!!
ОтветитьI have a 75, they are extremely reliable, but I’m sure that motors been rebuilt at least at one point. Also, mine has the 2F but also has 4-wheel drums.
“Pretty light”?
mine weighs the same as my 08 f150, I wouldn’t call it real light…
Rotors dial phone Black and white tv AM Radio No Tv after 12 AM And I wasn’t even born yet!!!✅
ОтветитьThe engine is a Copy of the GM 216 / 235 “stove bolt” licensed from GM to Toyota.
Ответить68,69 models have wipers in upper area of windscreen. And the front fenders dont have blade vents like the hood does have.
ОтветитьExcellent 🎉🎉🎉🎉
